Sacyr Meet the Buyer event at Cardiff Arms Park supports local procurement

Sacyr UK along with our employability partners attended a very successful 'Meet The Buyer Event' at Cardiff Arms Park on 29th April which saw attendance from over 55 local businesses including People Plus, CITB, Sphere Solutions, Y Prentis, Cardiff and Vale College, Into Work, Lighthouse Charity, Blue Water Recruitment

We provided stands for all employability partners connected to the project, to help raise awareness of their offering. We also signposted our potential supply chain to the right support services to help them build a positive rapport.

Prichards ltd, the contractor awarded for the early works package seized the opportunity to partner with Into Work and The Onsite Construction Hub, and are now providing opportunities to both apprentices and individuals who have been long term unemployed, proving that collaboration at such events are key to form prosperous relationships.
